The choice for a battery that is always charged, a neat and comfortable installation. The holder is equipped with an approved cigarette lighter cable for connection to the vehicle's 12 Volt socket. When you place the iPad 10.2 in the holder, it automatically connects to the charger. If you have a car with a USB interface, you can remove the cigarette lighter plug from the holder's cable to connect a USB cable directly to the USB connector in your car. The holder is mounted on a tilt swivel, so you can adjust the angle and switch between portrait and landscape mode.
NB!:
In order to send audio files from your device via the USB cable, this feature must be supported by your car stereo. This is easily tested by connecting your device to the stereo using the USB/charging cable that came with your device. Charging via USB will work either way.
Tablets should not be installed on the dashboard of a car if they block the view or the most important controls. The ProClip is designed for installation of smaller devices (phones), not for large devices (tablets). If you want to place a tablet on the dashboard of the car, you should examine each tablet-car combination in detail by yourself to determine whether such an installation is possible in a particular case. Consider the position and how firmly the ProClip sits in place, as well as the size of the tablet you want to use. Brodit will not make recommendations for such installations.
An installation of a tablet on the dashboard of a vehicle is always at the customer's own responsibility. Brodit recommends using tablets on the car's headrest, installed on a Brodit headrest mount.
