Remove paint from the contact points with workshop equipment and protect against corrosion with suitable contact paste and also treat the antenna rod wire and the antenna base wire to optimize contact.

Check vehicle for interference from retrofit LED lighting
Check vehicle for interference from aftermarket voltage converters/power supplies/USB charging adapters
Check the vehicle for interference from aftermarket digital output stages.
