    To extend the existing belt by 60 cm. It can be very useful when you have difficulty getting the belt closed. Following the Dutch laws and regulations, the use of a belt extender in a child safety seat is not permitted. If the belt is too short, another approved seat belt must be fitted. However, this only applies in the Netherlands. In the rest of Europe it is allowed to use a belt extender in a child seat.
