    With the black Carpoint auxiliary coupling clamping part you ensure that you safely transport your trailer or caravan. This Carpoint auxiliary coupling can be mounted around any round towbar with the bolt and nut attachment. Loop the trailer brake and shear cables through the slots of the auxiliary coupling. If the trailer or caravan slides off the tow bar of the car, the brake and breakaway cable ensures that the trailer or caravan brakes. The auxiliary coupling also ensures that the trailer or caravan does not drive in all directions.
